Smart Girl’s Guide is a digital monthly magazine created by a group of girls right from the SGG community. The goal of the magazine is to cater to every type of Smart Girl. There are monthly columns on topics ranging from current affairs to style to college prep to health-amongst others-and guest columns meant to open our eyes to new worlds and inspire us by their stories. Our cover girls are chosen by the staff, and range in shape, skin tone, and style, just like the Smart Girls. Her face is never completely visible, as we do not want to define exactly how the Smart Girl should look. Smart Girl’s Loop is our daily blog, written by another fabulous team of Smart Girls. This is a Smart Girl’s go-to spot for daily posts about how to live the Smart Life. From DIY crafts to an interactive advice column to stories straight from travel journals to current world news, there is no better place to read stories that will cater to the whole Smart Girl. The blog will be updated twice a day; in the morning for a breakfast read, and at night, for a bedtime story. We like to consider them our tea times: English Breakfast Tea and Chamomile Tea (the best tea before bed!). Get in the loop…with the Smart Girls! Smart Girl’s Campus is our college program, aka the perfect opportunity for all of our college girls. These ladies serve as the voices for The Smart Girls Group on their campuses and as integral members of the SGG community through our two programs. Campus Smart Girls are SGG’s Campus Reps. These Smart Girls work to spread the word about The Smart Girls Group around their campus, while also spotlighting Smart Girls around their schools. This program is very beneficial even for our high school Smart Girls, who will get a taste of college life from these fantastic Smart Girls. Our other college program, Interns for Smart Girls, is our internship program. These select girls are given an opportunity unlike the average internship. There is no generic job description, no answering emails for the staff, and no busy work. Our interns are provided with a one of a kind program, designed specially for them. Whether they are working with us on devising a new marketing strategy or analyzing how petroleum engineering impacts the lives of Smart Girls, an internship with The Smart Girls Group is an opportunity that cannot be beat.
